Aspirin hydrolysis mechanism in water and NaOH

Hello!
I can't seem to figure out how aspirin hydrolysis actually happens in deionized water. Is it a two way reaction? I know there is a two step reaction when it is hydrolysed by NaOH. I'm also not sure wheteher 2 or 3 OH- are used in the hydrolysis with NaOH. Thanks for the *delete me*

You can start with a structural formula for aspirin. Then, try to learn what it hydrolyzed into. Can you find, in a textbook or even on Wikipedia, the common reactions of the sort of molecule aspirin is, to determine how the reaction can proceed?

Do you know whether the hydrolysis is exothermic or endothermic. I found both of those options on the internet and am not sure.
