Suggestion of experimental methods

Hello everybody,

I am carrying out an experiment: basically, I am trying to find out how the intensity of UV light (added to electrolytes) affects an electrolyte's I electrical potential (once the UV-exposed liquid is added to the setup containing the voltmeter, and other apparatus)

Kindly suggest any experimental methods

Because cell voltages depend on so many factors, including the pollution of the electrodes, I would expose the electrolyte to UV within the cell. Measure the potential before and after. Pay attention not to irradiate the electrodes. Stir before or during each measurement.

What electrolyte shall react to UV? If light decomposes it, for instance a silver salt, then you may observe a voltage change.

As I understood that will also depend on what elecrolytes are used.So you might like to use the same setup for several ones.
And when you're anyway making a series of experiments, you might like to incl. in your test how electromagnetic fields are effecting electrolysis, by usage of an slayer exciter (since it's simple to build at home)
