Chemistry conversion: ppm to g/100 mL
« on: September 30, 2018, 03:42:17 PM »
Given an aqueous sample that contain 2 ppm Cl, convert this concentration to the equivalent units by filling in the blanks below.

2 ppm (wt/vol) Cl = ___ µg Cl/ 1 mL sample = ___ mg Cl/ 1 L sample = ___ g Cl/100 mL

2 ppm Cl = 2 ug/mL = 2 mg/L = 2e-4 g/100mL

Is that correct?

Looks OK.

Fact that you are dealing with Cl doesn't matter.
