I mean additon of halogens or hydrogen halogenide, oxidation with ozone, peroxide, or permanganate, etc.

Thanks for your help but I know I can add halogen or HCl then I will get an alkyl halide. Can the alkyl halogen be reduced to a saturated alkane? Sorry for my english I m from France and thanks for help

Yes it can, using Boranat, Alanat or Grignard.
