What is Outer-Shell Electron Configuration?
« on: August 06, 2006, 07:35:45 AM »
Take an example: Lithium, Li

I know that valence shell = 2.1

Electronic Configuration = 1s2, 2s1

Outer-Shell Electron configuration? is it 1?

not bad for E.C., but remember that outer-shell E.C. should in similar format too; ie. 2s1 :D

Outer-shell E.C = 2s1
