Nitrogen monoxide is bubbled into iron(ii)Sulphate solution
« on: August 08, 2006, 07:11:33 AM »
Hi,

Can someone please tell me why this happens.

When Nitrogen monoxide is bubbled into iron(ii)Sulphate solution a brown colouration develops.

All I know is that this a test done for nitrogen monoxide with the catalyst iron(ii)sulphate.
Thank you in advance!
