Hello,
I am not a chemist meaning this may be a simple or stupid question. I'm tasked with investigating a proposed chemical reaction in which a mixture (mostly formic acid) is to be heated at reflux for several hours.
The problem is that most reactor/condensor/heating setups I found all operate at atmospheric pressure while this reaction is to be maintained at approx. 4 bar and also produces CO2/NH3 gas products which need to be occasionally vented.
How would I need to modify the equipment to achieve this?
