CXC question

Astatine is found just below Iodine in group 7 use your knowledge of ione to answer the following question.
What state would astatine be at room temperature
I know its solid but then they ask why  i chose this answer and i really don't have a reason. Can anyone tell me why?

Just look at the trend for that row.

2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
