What is the concentration of ammonia required to give a solution with ph 11.9? (Kb ammonia = 1.8e-5)
The answer I came up with is 0.008 but I'm really unsure if this is even close. Thoughts anyone?

An answer without units is always wrong. Unless its a ratio or something.

Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex

0.008M

Way too low.

0.008M ammonia solution has pH = 10.57
