PR stands for Page Rank, kind of a measure of the page importance. It was hit back in nineties, it has lost most of it's charm now, but it is still a sometimes usefull information. The higher PR the better. PR6 (chemicalforums.com) and above is a good one, PR4/5 are reasonably good, PR3 is sh*^&. PR is one of hundred factors taken into account when deciding SERPs (explained below). Look for random surfer model for more details.
