Surface Phase, Surface excess moles and Surface concentration
« on: August 16, 2006, 06:30:46 AM »
Hey all
Trying to figure out what surface phase means. I sort of know but cant quite put it into words. From what I understand it is the concentration of various components in the surface monolayer. Not sure if this is right so if someone could correct me that would be great. Also looking for what surface excess moles is and surface excess concentration which I don't really know what they mean.
Thanks
Brent

are you studying catalysts?
