What can we do with Na2SO4 for iron&steel industry?
« on: August 23, 2019, 06:39:03 AM »
A sinter filter generates much more Na2SO4 as a residue/waste into the some area inside iron & steel factory. We need to get away with it , its cost not good but maybe we can recover it and make it useful for iron & steel industry. What do you suggest so we can do something about Na2SO4 and evaluate in our industry or where to sell it?

Sodium sulfate has many industrial uses  like in detergent industry and in Kraft process of paper pulp or as drying agent in chemical industry.

I already know that
But this is not what i asked.
I asked about what we can do it inside of iron & steel plant? Or how can we recover it? How to bar from producing that residue?

But we know from basic solubility rule that Na2SO4 is very soluble .Highly soluble salts can be precipitated out by adding some more soluble compound so that Na2SO4 can be separated.
