So I have some silver chloride with some calcium and magnesium contaminants I'd like to remove if I add some %3 acetic acid to it will that react with my silver chloride I tried to do some searching on it but can't find anything or would it be better to use some deluted hcl

Calcium and Magnesium in which form, as metal or Ion? If as Ion (CaCl
2
or MgCl
2
) wasching with DI-water should be enough. If it is the metal dilutet HCl would work fine. But note AgCl is easily to reduce to silver.
