Hey so, im a high school student.. I always did bad when I was little, never cared about school. But some years ago I opened my eyes about real world and realized I love learning. Now.. I want to learn but my school already went on those topics I need my bases from to learn correctly at the level Im in. I tried Khan Academy and started with this http://prntscr.com/po7k3v <- That's a screenshot. Basically I think the atoms, compounds and Ions needs a written section that explains everything in depth. But I cant ask a lot out of a free service. Please I beg of you all, Im someone with the will and utmost intent to learn, learn a lot, can someone tell me what is a good book for starting into chemistry? Dosent matter how large, big or complex it is. Ill finish it and thoroughly learn all its contents. I just want to know from experienced... I dont know.. teachers, chemistry forums navigators what would be a good book. I also would want it not to be a kids book, I want it to be in depth enough for a high schooler. I would also prefer it to be new, (Dosent matter if its old) updated, and where I can learn tons.. This wont mean I wont complete Khan academy it just means Ill use it as an aid to complete the whole Chemistry course. Huge thanks in advance, -Daniel.
