Sodium-Sulphur or Lead Acid Batteries
« on: December 08, 2019, 12:45:13 PM »
Hello, I am in a composition class this semester and I was assigned a research project on electric cars and the batteries currently used. I also researched other alternative power sources and found that sodium-sulhpur batteries and lead-acid batteries would be a feasible option.

Which battery would you recommend as a good powering source and why?
What is the sourcing or production process for sodium-sulphur batteries?
Would a key component or method improve the cycle life of sodium-sulphur batteries?
How does sodium compared with lithium in the emission of greenhouse gases?
How cost-effective is the sodium-sulphur sourcing process?

Thank you!!
