NEWS: New Format
« on: April 01, 2004, 05:25:38 AM »
We will be testing out this new format for the website. The reason being we get over or very near 100 unique hits a day, but not that many questions. The current thinking is that the forums are too hidden or the users are too lazy to find the forums to post. Comments on the new format are welcomed and even appreciated. :)

Also, the links section is broken. The problem seems to be that the links open up into error messages. I'm looking into this, and it should be fixed in 1-2 days.

Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex

What is kind of funny is that I miss the shout  :P, and I said I didn't like it at first...

Yeah, I like how it puts emphasis on the forums rather than the articles, since we're mostly a forums site.  But I think there's enough room for a shout box at the lower left side... or an improved shout box would be nice.
I've got nothin'

I like the shout box too. When I was trying to fix the link section I had to get rid of all the latest modifications, to make sure they weren't incompatible with the links section. I'll re-add it as soon as I can fix the links,
