You have to show your attempt at finding the answer before receiving help, this is a forum policy.

Have you tried to google?

I tried. But can't find a huge definition.

compound and mixture difference

Most every High School chemistry text book has discussions on this. It is one of the most basic concepts.

Every general chemistry textbook will have a definition for both.  Wikipedia will have definitions for both.  There are countless other sites with definitions.  All you need to do is google  "definition chemical substance" and click on the links.  Then do the same for "definition chemical mixture".  Think about them and compare them.

I also recommend you take a look at the IUPAC definitions (although they can sometimes be a bit ambiguous / sketchy)

what are your first thoughts? how would YOU define chemical substance and mixture?  What do you think the differences are?
