May I dry anhydrous zncl2 under vacuum with a flame?
Will I remove the gas (HO) produced with some little atmospheric water and leave pure zncl2?
Or I better don't do it?

No becouse I was asking about drying it along with a solvent with an anhydrous salt.
Not about flame drying it pure in a glass under vacuum.
I am concern if will be deteriorated and /or disrupt the reaction or just a tinny portion will react with very little atmospheric water and the OH will be sucked by the pump letting pure anhydrous powder.
