Dear all,
I am an electronic engineer and with this is my first post so apologies in advance if it is in the incorrect area of the forum.
I need to make the highest possible quality of distilled water for use in homeopathy, I assume that would be something classified as medical/pharmaceutical grade?
Few questions:
1) I assume that any impurities or volatile compounds which evaporate at temperatures lower than 100 degC will evaporate too and then end up in the final "distilled" water making it less pure. How can I solve that problem to achieve the highest purity distilled water? What is the best glassware setup?
2) how can I make sure the glass does not contain any lead or other contaminants which might leach and/or affect the structuring of the water when it condenses during the distillation process? What type of glassware shall I look for (maybe quartz glassware or pyrex)?
3) What are some good suppliers in the UK?
Many thanks in advance!
John
