Balance equations
« on: June 02, 2020, 01:37:15 PM »
equation has to balance by the ion-electron, indicating the oxidizing, reducing agent and the
substance that undergoes oxidation and reduction.
Bi + 3 (aq) + ClO-1 (aq) + OH-1 (aq) → BiO3-1 (aq) + Cl-1 (aq)
Give the molecular form of the equation, using as reagents: bismuth chloride, sodium hypochlorite and
sodium hydroxide. After the equation is in molecular form, balance by trial if necessary.
