Question about sample(heavy metal)
« on: June 26, 2020, 06:11:27 AM »
I have 300mg of bacopa monnieri powder capsulated. It shows on the analytical chart that it has 0.11ppm of lead using icp-ms. The instruction are to take it consecutivly, everyday(7 days a week) for about 9 week's total. How long and how much will it take for me to get lead poisoning? I've purchased it from nootropicsdepot(bacognize capsules,300mg) in case you need a visual. Thank you, I will really appreciate the answers as I am contemplating on taking it or tossing it.

Here we give no medical advice.
I am wondering why to eat a drug containing lead.

The amount is calculated 300 mg x 0,11/ 1.000.000 x 7 x 9 = 2.08 x10-3 mg = 2.08 μg.

Dangerous values are about 1 mg per day.

It is not exactly a drug, sounds like a herbal powder. Quick googling suggests ppm levels of lead in soil are normal, so ppm amounts in dried plants come at no surprise.
