Hi everyone,
You can never mind. I appreciate your interest though mitch
(LOL). I have since found out that there is no for sure strait answer. Yet the most prominent and verified beleif is that there are "methane hydrates" present beneath that area of the atlantic. These eruptions produce regions of frothy water that no longer provide bouancy (to ships). Also laboratory experiments show that it is possible for bubbles to sink a scale model ship by decreasing the density of teh water. As for planes, the methane hydrates can then form a "methane gas cloud" over the area; which would stall the engine of a plane.
Thats all i got thanks for the support skedjic
I guess i only have one question....How does it feel being shown up by a high schooler?? Yeah!

This is open for discussion, comments, and further questions.
