The title says it all

But i was so stupid to accidentally buy the 2nd edition instead of the 3rd edition, so i am afraid of being to behind on stuff in my course. And i don't have the money to buy another book.
So if anyone does know the difference and if its very important that i get the newest book or at least 3rd edition, i would love to hear it.

Cheers!

I have been told by other undergraduates who use this book that there isn't a huge difference between the versions, but the page numbers and whatever is slightly different, which can be annoying for homework assignments. But this is only what I've heard.

I have since my last post had the chance to read some of the 4th edition and some of the 2nd edition and the 4th edition has around 300-400 pages of extra content.

I certainly hope that my professor uses what is in all books and stuff.

Maybe i should just buy the 4th edition just to be sure.

I would. Plenty of people in my chem course have bought old, used versions of Blackman's and they are lost when it comes to prescribed reading.
