AS Practical Exam
« on: October 03, 2006, 06:35:03 AM »
For those of you doing CIE, you should be aware too that the practical exam is coming real soon (17th Oct) so I was wondering if everyone had really handy tips for the chem practical exam, or just practical exams in general and we could share and discuss them. e.g., look through your given equipment before you start, if you are given filter paper, then you're most likely going to be testing for ions so you should do the filtering first so you can do part one when the filtering is taking place, thereby saving time. etc etc

So if anyone has any excellent tips please share them with us.

Don't rush, because you will make mistakes if you do. Just make sure you think about what you're doing, even if you've done it a thousand times before.

Don't worry too much, when I was at school one of the guys set fire to his entire apparatus and only lost 4 marks.
