Unusual/Unconventional jobs for chemists
« on: February 10, 2023, 04:44:43 AM »
Hey!

I just graduated and I was looking for information on the possible positions offered to chemists or scientists in general. We can work in synthesis, quality control, quality assurance, in R&D, ... in many different fields.

But have you heard of unusual/unconventional or even crazy jobs? Jobs that sometimes require you to get out of the lab, jobs closer to humans, animals, art, ...
I realize the question is vague, and I am sorry.

Some examples to clear it up :
-Working with an art institute for the analysis of various works of art
-Working with an aquarium (sea-museum) for analysis and quality assurance of the water

Have you had a job that surprised people around you when you talked about it? Have you heard about such a job? Please share it with us!
