Relative atomic mass

A compound has a formula M3N where M is a metal element and N is nitrogen. It contains 0.673 grams of N per gram of the metal M. Determine the relative atomic mass of M and its identity?

Calculate the moles of nitrogen N first.
How many moles of Metal correspond to it?
Backward you can calculate the molar weight from this number and the given mass.

The metal M is lithium with atomic mass equal to 6.94 u.

well technically he didn't give a final answer 'cos the question asked for "relative atomic mass", and he gave atomic mass!

There might be a difference between relative atomic mass and atomic mass, e.g. that one has a unit and the other doesn't!
