Gen Chem 1 Level: ml of liquid drug
« on: December 16, 2023, 10:12:05 PM »
Background: Already have the correct answer given for this problem. Looking to find out the steps to find the answer.

Question: How many ml of a liquid drug should a 200 pound person take if the dosage of the drug is 125 mg/kg and the density of the drug is 0.2 g/ml?

*The answer I'm getting is 568 ml, the correct answer on the practice sheet says 56.8 ml. Not sure if i'm missing a simple conversion step.

the density of the drug is 0.2 g/ml?

That bit can not be correct.

If the concentration of the drug is 0.2g/ml then I agree the correct answer is 56.8ml.

Note - Do not use more decimal places in your answer than are present in the conversion factors you have used.
