Brescia University, a small Catholic Liberal Arts University located in
Kentucky seeks a broadly-trained individual for a tenure-track assistant
professor position in Chemistry to begin August 2024. Applicants must
have a minimum of a Ph.D. degree and show a commitment to
undergraduate education. The successful applicant will demonstrate ability
or willingness to teach both majors and nonmajors chemistry with an
emphasis in Physical and Biological Chemistry and the candidate’s area of
specialization; other courses offered as needed to support both the major
and minor. The position will maintain teaching labs and chemical inventory,
advise students and serve on committees. Preference will be given to
candidates with experience in current STEM pedagogy and chemical
hygiene in a lab setting. The department encourages and fosters creative
teaching.
