Different liquids to measure Electroviscosity with?
« on: December 03, 2024, 01:40:40 PM »
Hello, I'm trying to experiment with the electroviscous properties of different fluids(safely), however, I'm having trouble finding resources to properly find fluids that are readily available for purchase or creation (most require certification that I don't yet have, especially in the required volumes).
My question is: What are some fluids (Electrorheological or not) that exhibit electroviscous changes, that are readily available?

No idea.

Perhaps look for papers on the effect (I assume you already did it if you checked availability of some liquids) and try to contact their authors? This is a rather niche thing, so chances that any of regulars will be able to help are slim (to say the least).
