Question about α-Amanitin. Thanks.
« on: Yesterday at 10:08:09 AM »
First, why does α-Amanitin have two CAS numbers? CAS No: 23109-05-9 and CAS: 11030-71-0. Second, what are the fundamental differences between α-Amanitin and IBOTENIC ACID?

Nothing unusual about two CAS numbers. CAS number is not related to the formula/name, it is assigned to a "substance". Different CAS numbers often refer to the same substance from different sources or prepared by other means.

They are about as similar as a laptop and an ant.
