i and a friend of mine made an experiment together
well we have got a problem.. we made an experiment concerning stoiciometry about active metal and acids. First we added aluminium into a beaker consisting excess mole of HCl,
after the reaction completed, we got a certain amount of the liquid in the beaker and we titrated it with NaOH. But there is a problem and we cannot find the moles of NaOH equal to the moles of HCl titrated.
The reason is the acidic character of the salt produced at the end of the reaction with the aluminium and HCl but we do not know how to make the necessary calculations that will yield the theoratic value.. Pleaseeee help us
