You can analyze the phosphate quantity with a gravimetric method by precipitating the Phosphate as Ammonium Magnesium phosphate, which is converted to Mg-Pyrophosphate by roasting, then, you can easily calculate the phosphate content.
Also, I think that it is possible to determine the content by photometry (Phosphate forms a yellow complex with ammonium Heptamolybtate, AFAIR)...
