Looking for an Inorganic Chemistry Guide/Outline/Review Book
« on: January 23, 2007, 02:58:32 AM »
Hallo all,

I'm a senior undergraduate student taking a course in Inorganic Chemistry.  This is the second course in Inorganic Chemistry that I've taken.  My textbook is a fairly good one, but I've found in the past that having a secondary book helps me to understand the material better.  It is also useful for reviewing at the end of the year, or in the future if I need to take one of the ACS exams.

I am a fan of the Schaum's Outlines for Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, etc., but as far as I know Schaum's doesn't publish a book for Inorganic (though I may be mistaken).  I also haven't seen one put out by Cliff's Review, or any of the other popular publishers of study guides.

I was just hoping that someone here might be able to tell me of a good Inorganic Chemistry Guide/Outline/Review book of this nature, preferably at the senior undergraduate or graduate level of study.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help, it will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Sorry to post to my own, er, post, but...

Should this topic be in the "Chemical Education" thread instead of here?  If so, please tell me how to move it or who to talk to.  I would simply post it again, but the rules request that I not do that.  It doesn't seem to be doing all that well here.

Cheers
