Another one of my ideas for some interesting high-tech weaponry here, how about a blade, be it a sword or dagger or similar such edged weapon, with aome sort of ultrasonic vibrator (no not that sort of vibrator ) built in, sort of like a very hostile, sharpened version of an ultrasonic toothbrush

The idea being, that the ultrasonic generator would cause the blade edge to vibrate at a very high frequency, if the blade could vibrate fast enough, I imagine it could cut through body armor, flesh, bone, wood, most things, like a hot knife through butter.

Think this would work people? I am not so sure just how small ultrasonic transdeucers and generators can be made.
