electrons in a cup
« on: February 04, 2007, 12:37:28 AM »
So I have been trying to figure out how many electrons are in a 12 fl. oz. cup of black coffee...any suggestions of where I should start out to answer this question?  I kinda know what I need to do, but in order to complete my formula I need to figure out how to get the formula weight of coffee.  That's where I get stuck at.  Thanks ahead of time for those who *delete me*!!

Coffee is a complicated mixture of compounds, I doubt you will be finding the FW of coffee anytime soon (and it can very from bag to bag, too!). Unless you make your coffee crazy strong, it is still mostly water; so just treat it as and make a fairly good estimation.
