To produce epoxyethane you can react ethene with oxygen in the presence of a silver catalyst. Can anyone tell me the entire mechanism for this reaction or a website on which the entire mechanism is shown?

I did not know that. but u can make the epoxyehtane by reacting the methene with a peroxyacid, mechanism for that is all over text books.

i believe you mean ethylene, not methane, in the previous post
