I got 5Fe+2 + 8H+ + MnO4 ----> Mn2+ +4H20 + 5Fe+3. I have a feeling this might be wrong. I did it in lab with the method of titration.

Count charges for both sides. Mno4 bears minus charge.

Okay, thanks. Is there anything else that has to be added, such as products of reactants. For in the lab, I used the KMnO4- in titration.

You could also state whether you used an catalyst or perhaps include state symbols as that could affect the reaction.

I am known to be occasionally wrong.
