Radioactivity - Chemical kinetics
« on: April 11, 2007, 09:56:19 AM »
Hi,

Ten gram atoms of an alpha-active radioisotope are disintegrating in a sealed container. In one hour the helium gas collected at S.T.P is 11.2 cm3. Calculate the half life of the radio isotope.

Can someone please tell me how to do this problem? Thanks.

Unless I am missing something there is not enough data.
