I am having a bit of a problem finding the structure and properties of copper(II) acetylsalicylate. In one source I see that copper acetylsalicylate is one equivalent acetylsalicylic acid
having a coordinate bond with copper, but in the pubchem ncbi database, they show the copper aspirinate as 4 acetylsalicylic anions with 2 copper cations. I am really confused with this conflict. I have searched many sources and cannot find a definite structure for copper(II) acetylsalicylate. If anyone could help me in finding the definite structure, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
