Radical reaction HBr + 2-methylopropene

Is the product ok? Why doesn't Br radical react the normal way in this reaction?

the idea is that the addition of the bromine radical leads to a tertiary radical that can decay again. in your reaction a stable allyl radical is formed that has to stay a radical until it finds something to react with, typically Br2
