Having more humans on this planet doesn't increase diversity of life's gene pool only the human gene pool.  Humans differ less than ~ .5 % in their DNA.  No matter how much we think we are different from one another, we are ~99.9 % like one another.  Compare that to how close we are to a puffer fish (~70 %).  When there are fewer species on the planet & greater numbers of one species, entropy is decreased because variation in life's gene pool is less.

again only my thoughts - not theory or law

Thats what I said, in less words however.
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex

savoy7,
I think you've got it backwards.
Diversity implies different forms of order, not disorder.
Homogeneity implies disorder.
A shuffled deck of cards is more homogeneous and disordered than a stacked deck.
When things flow across a gradient, like heat or matter flow, to reach a state of equilibrium or homogeneity, entropy is increased. This is a natural driving force.
Entropy increases as things become the same everywhere.
So in your peculiar application of entropy to civilization, entropy increases as cultural diversity decrease.

Great comment Demotivator.  You've got me thinking.
