I recently did an experiment as part of my chemistry course at school, and I had to record observations but the whole thing went a bit wrong. I think I burnt the Copper Sulfate... Here's what I was meant to do, could somebody please please please tell me what was meant to happen.
1) 2 Spatchulas of CuSo4 in Crucible
2) Full flame heat for 1 min over bunsen. (apparently their should be a small change, but I accedently burnt the CuSo4, what would this change be?)
3) Take heat from crucible
4) Add 3-4 Spatchulas of water (slightly over saturating)
5) Add heat for 1 min
6) Take heat away for 1 min
7) Repeat until evapouration
What would happen.
Also, i need to knw if this would be a reversible reaction. I'm 90% sure it is but I'm not sure why???
Thanks for yur help
