« on: September 15, 2007, 06:57:47 PM »
Im stuck on this one.. can someone show me step by step on how to solve this please.

Problem: the solder once used by plumbers to fasten copper popes together consists of 67% lead and 33% tin. What is the mass of lead in a 250-g block of solder??

Step 1: 250g x 0.67 = 167.5g
