POMS is an annual short symposium that showcases new developments in any and all fields in chemical sciences related to physical organic chemistry. Recent studies in areas such as materials chemistry, mechanistic organic chemistry, theoretical organic chemistry, bio-organic chemistry, and organic photochemistry (to name a few) are presented in the form of short talks and posters. As always, active participation by graduate students and postdoctoral fellows is strongly encouraged.

Abstracts for oral and poster presentations must be submitted via email by October 19, 2007.  See Website Link.  Please indicate clearly whether you prefer to give an oral or poster presentation.

Personal note: There are particular institutions that always participate.  If you'd like to play a part, but are from a different institution, just send an email to the person in charge...she's a nice lady.  And who doesn't want their conference to grow?
