Why/How is trans-1-bromo-3-chlorocyclobutane an achiral molecule and not a chiral molecule?

What is your definition of chiral? Does this molecule have (+/-) optical rotation?

Name is incorrect. This compound cannot be trans

Sorry, I did not notice this "cyclo"

Find a plane of symmetry! Both cis- and trans- are achiral
