I have a great idea but I need to know if it's plausible and economical.  Sunblocks for children have purple dye in them (oil-soluble) that go on purple to show the protected areas and fade away within a few minutes. I want to be able to do this with hand sanitizer.

Is it possible to get hand sanitizer to stay purple for at least 1 minute before it fades?  I just don't know which sort of dye would be best suited for this or how everything would link up molecularly.

Any ideas?

Hey, thanks for the info.

Not considering it for money. Just curiosity and optimism.  Thanks again.
