Is there anyway I can test batch samples of hydraulic oil for a silicon additive before I use the oil? I am the end user and do not have any lab equipment, but would buy something if I need to.thanks!

It is very hard to determine the silicon in oil by the use of simple method.
To determine the metal contents, I think the X-Ray Fluorescent spectrometer can help but the equipment is quite expensive.
