does anyone know how to remove the stain on the table created by acetonitrile? It created a white stain on it and I can't remove it..

Dear Liemei;

I assume from your description that it is a wooden table with lacquering, and in this case the lacquering is quite more then less destroyed.  It is not something added by the Acetonitrile, but the lacquering is now “blind”.  So you can’t do very much with chemistry.

I think you will have carefully to remove the white of the stain (hopefully not till the ground) and restore the lacquering as good as possible. Maybe you go for assistance to select the best replacement lacquering to get the best result.

Kind Regards
