Ideal gas question
« on: November 10, 2007, 02:15:02 PM »
Hello i am just doing a past exam paper question and want to know if my answer is correct.

Question is. Caculate the volume of 1.00mol of CO2 at 298K and 100kpa.

I have done..

V=RnT/p    =V= 8.31jmol-1K-1x 1.00mol x 298K/
                      1.0x105

               V= 2,476.38/1.0x105 v=2,476.38/100,000

               V= 0.0247638

               V= 2.48x10-2m3

It looks fairly straightforward but am i correct?
Thanks,Kris.
