??? i want to know the method of analysis of (purity and moisture content)ethyl acetate by titration method with all calculation?

secondly whats the mobile phase in GC analysis of pentaerythritol, or tell me method of  analysis of pentaerythritol?

thanful to all,

I think it is impossible to perform ethyl full acetate analysis by titration. At least you can use Fischer Moisture Analysis (Better to read about it more). Other impurities better to determine by GC.

The second question is funny, since in GC the mobile phase is an inert gas such as helium, and there is nothing to choose from  ;)

HPLC analysis of PE is made difficult because detectors are relatively insensitive to it - all except MS and a light scattering detector.  Even so, it can be done by reversed phase (C18 column and water/methanol mobile phase).  The exact composition of the mobile phase will vary from brand to brand of column.

Why did the moderator tell the poster to read the forum rules?

I just re-read the rules and didn't catch any mistakes... except maybe a broad topic title?

Thanks,
Andy

You are required to show some effort.

Hello,

I don't mean to be a pest, but what indicated a lack of effort to you?

Perhaps I don't see what you see because I am a beggining organic chemistry student...

Happy Holidays,
Andrew
